Neuromodulators (Botox/Dysport/Xeomin)

Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin are all neuromodulators which work by weakening the muscle's activity which is responsible for the wrinkling of the skin with expression. Neuromodulators work and are a great tool to prevent the formation of static lines which happen with repetitive motion over time. They lead to a smoother appearance and an overall rejuvenated and rested look. Each person will require different amounts to achieve the same effect, and sometimes, it takes an additional session to get the desired effect. That is also why we include touch-ups in our prices. Yes! Touch ups are FREE (within the 3 week period)! At Skin Haus Aesthetics, we aim for a natural approach to smooth out the skin. Results typically last three to five months.

  • Downtime: None. You can immediately go back to work or resume any activity.

  • Pain: None to minimal. We use topical anesthetics to make it as comfortable as possible.

  • Aftercare: Just resume your regular skincare and follow aftercare sheet provided.

  • Side effects: Minor bruising or discomfort at the injection site can happen but will quickly

    disappear.

Dermal Fillers (Belotero/Juvederm/Restylane/Radiesse/RHA)

Most dermal fillers (e.g. Juvederm, Restylane) are made of hyaluronic acid gel and are a key component in facial rejuvenation and enhancement. Hyaluronic acid is a natural compound that exists normally in our own skin. Dermal fillers contain a higher density, so-called cross-linked, hyaluronic acid and that’s why they are so powerful in restoring volume. They come in different compositions and have slightly different consistencies depending on what area you want to treat and what effect you want to achieve. Fillers are used to add volume and treat static lines. Fillers are a great way to add volume to lips, enhance lip shape and lift it slightly.

Topical anesthetics and dental blockers are both available/applied.

Fat Dissolving (Kybella/Celluform/Celluform Plus)

Kybella/Celluform is a nonsurgical procedure for people looking to lose their double chin or areas of stubborn fat. They are the brand names for synthetic deoxycholic acid, which is injected into your chin to kill the fat cells there. They are the only FDA-approved injectable treatments for this purpose. The treatment time is less than 2o minutes. Topical anesthetic may be applied if preferred. At each treatment, you will receive multiple small injections under your chin or the body area of fat, and the injection process takes about 15 to 20 minutes. The exact number of injections will depend on the amount of fat you have and your desired profile.

Since everyone's composition is different, the number of treatments varies from patient to patient. Your healthcare specialist will help determine how many treatment sessions you need based on the amount and distribution of your submental fat and your personal treatment goals. Each treatment session is given at least 1 month apart.

THE MOST COMMON SIDE EFFECTS OF KYBELLA®/CELLUFORM INCLUDE:

Swelling, pain, numbness, redness, and areas of hardness in the treatment area.
